Question 1

Which workflows does Openstand describe for each clinic type?

Accepted Answer

The dental clinic page describes insurance and claims follow-up, approved recall and rebooking texts, and waitlist-based backfill for cancelled chairs. The veterinary clinic page describes missed-call follow-up, aging claims, and recall and rebooking; it also has sections on waitlist backfill and daily P&L reporting. The pages describe clinic-specific workflows, so confirm the fit for your clinic and chosen workflow.

Question 2

Does Openstand replace our practice management or scheduling system?

Accepted Answer

No. Openstand says it works alongside the practice management or scheduling system your clinic already uses, adding an operating layer around selected work without a rip-and-replace project. Coverage is workflow-led and confirmed against your system version during setup.

Question 3

Which systems are listed, and what if we use another one?

Accepted Answer

The integrations page lists Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental for dental clinics, and Cornerstone, ezyVet, and AVImark for veterinary clinics. Coverage depends on the workflow and system version. If your system is not listed, share its name, version, and the workflow you want to discuss so the connector path can be confirmed.

Question 4

What happens after we share a clinic brief?

Accepted Answer

The intake starts with a focused conversation to map the priority workflow, its handoffs, and a useful first goal. Openstand then checks system access and data boundaries before work begins. The first workflow is described with an activity trail, human review where it belongs, and a short list of items to tune.

Question 5

How long does rollout take?

Accepted Answer

The clinic intake promises that a real person from the Openstand team will respond within one business day. That is a first-response commitment, not a go-live estimate. Ask the team for timing based on your clinic, system, and chosen workflow.

Question 6

Does our team retain human oversight?

Accepted Answer

The onboarding description says the first workflow has a clear activity trail and human review where it belongs. The published information does not specify review points for every workflow, so ask about the workflow your clinic is considering.

Question 7

Does Openstand guarantee HIPAA compliance?

Accepted Answer

No blanket compliance guarantee is stated. HIPAA responsibilities depend on the clinic’s policies, contracts, and system configuration. Confirm clinic-specific questions with your privacy lead or qualified counsel, and contact Openstand about its role in a proposed workflow.

Question 8

What does daily P&L reporting include?

Accepted Answer

Openstand describes daily P&L reporting. The veterinary clinic page frames daily numbers as signals rather than a verdict on profitability, and says its general owner-check questions are not a promise that each item appears in the report. Ask which metrics and data sources apply to your clinic.

Question 9

Where can we see pricing or ask whether Openstand fits our clinic?

Accepted Answer

The pricing page lists Openstand’s current plans. To discuss your clinic type, systems, and priority workflow, share a clinic brief; use the contact page for questions about fit, privacy, pricing, or integrations.
